Have Old Shoes? Don't Throw Them Out; Donate Them to Morristown 911 Dog and Cat Rescue

MORRISTOWN, NJ- Cleaning out your closet to get ready for fall? Kids need new sneakers for school? Don't throw the old shoes out, donate them and make a difference. 911 Dog and Cat Rescue is collecting pairs of gently used/worn shoes of any shape or size as a fundraiser for the organization.

"So far we have collected 50 pairs of shoes," stated Jackie Braun of 911 Dog and Cat Rescue. "The shoes are being sent overseas to impoverished countries and then we receive a donation check to our group for the amount of shoes we were able to give them."

911 Dog and Cat Rescue "provides fostering, rescue and adoptions for dogs and cats that are in need of permanent, forever homes". To see a list of animals available for adoption, click HERE

Don't delay, clean out those closets today. Shoe donations can be dropped off at the Morristown Animal Hospital, 40 Western Avenue or you can call or email 911 Dog and Cat Rescue to arrange for a pick up. Email them at or call 908-763-2040.
