Holiday Arts Festival to Hit Madison on Thanksgiving Weekend

MADISON, NJ – Music, dance, theater and visual arts will take over downtown Madison on Thanksgiving weekend for the 12th annual holiday arts festival.

This free, rain-or-shine festival features nearly three dozen events—all within walking distance. Folks can stroll through town and shop for holiday gifts, dine at Madison eateries and check out art exhibits throughout the downtown area.

Festival hours are Friday, Nov. 24, 1-5 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 25, 1-4 p.m.

A variety of musical performances will be held on Friday and Saturday at Grace Episcopal Church, the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts, Short Stories Bookshop & Community Hub, DRIP Coffee and Harvest Bistro. 

Several musicians will perform at Poor Herbie’s, Shanghai Jazz, the Presbyterian Church of Madison and Hat Shop Madison on Friday only. Studio Yoga will present scenes from “The Nutcracker” on Friday at 3 p.m., and caricaturist Andrew Pungot will be at Provident Bank from 1-4 p.m.

Art will be on display for public viewing at the museum, Short Stories and DRIP throughout the festival.
