MADISON, NJ - Over 100 women enjoyed Ladies Night Out in downtown Madison. Hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Stitch Boutique, Morris Animal Inn, and Mud Clay Studio, the women received goody bags full of coupons and gifts from contributing businesses. Karen Giambra, Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce, explained that the evening brings women to downtown and is held annually on the Thursday before Mother’s Day.

Resident Juanita Van Ryzin enthused that “it seems like this event gets bigger and better every year. There is a lot of talk of it on Facebook.” Mother and daughter Carol Baumgartner and Christina Clark stated “the night is a trick-or-treat outing for women.” And friends Rachele Ramirez, Daphne Hanrahan, and Anne DeSalvo agreed that it was a great opportunity to go into stores they have never been into before.

Participating businesses were Adams Dental, Alfred’s Sport Shop, Bar Method Madison, British Home Emporium, Carter Smile, Cleaners Advantage, Club Pilates, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Frutta Bowls, Gary’s Wine & Marketplace, Gerlach’s Jewelers, Green House Solar, Hat Shop Madison, Home Sweet Home, La La Land Hair & Beauty Room, Madison Mud Clay Studio, Madison Pharmacy, Madison Public Library, Main Freeze & Maine Street Subs, Mark Anthony Salon, Museum of Early Trades & Crafts, PC Problems, RC Lab, Rocco’s Bar & Grill, Rose City Beauty, San Francisco Mercantile, Short Stories, Stitch Boutique, Studio Yoga, The Eyeglass Shoppe, The Max Challenge Madison, Tons of Toys, and Waxing the City.
