Bring leaves to the municipal garage

On weekdays from mid October through early December, residents may bring leaves to the Municipal Garage between the hours of 7:30am - 3pm. Commercial dumping of leaves is not allowed.

Rake leaves to the curb

This is the least preferred method of leaf removal, stated officials. It is expensive and can cause traffic and storm water management issues, they stated. If residents are raking the leaves to the curb, officials ask that this be done as soon as possible so that borough employees can use front end loaders for pickup when the leaves are wet.

Questions can be directed to the Department of Public Works at 973-593-3088.
