MADISON, NJ — The Madison Dodgers lost a tough one against rival Hanover Park, 69-59 on Tuesday Night. The Dodgers snap a 3-game winning streak and drop to a record of 5-6 on the season.
After a high scoring first quarter, Madison would only score eight points in the second quarter to go into halftime down 32-27.
Entering the third quarter, the Dodgers got back to their scoring ways, putting up 22 points to cut the deficit to three points heading into the fourth quarter.
Madison struggled to find a rhythm in the fourth, scoring only 10 points, which would not be enough to secure the victory
Andy Cristos scored 25 points for Madison and Matt Haughey added 14.
Matthew Winschuh led the way for Hanover, scoring 18 points and a game high four 3-pointers.
The Dodgers will try to get back to .500 when they play Boonton, January 18th at the Madison High School Gymnasium.
