Madison Boys Lacrosse Gets Season Started With a 5-4 Victory over Caldwell

MADISON, NJ — The Madison Dodgers boys’ lacrosse team got off to a good start to the season, beating Caldwell 5-4 on Wednesday evening.

Pat Grahling led Madison in the first half, scoring two goals to head into the locker room up 2-0.  

Caldwell came out with two quick goals to start the second half to knot the game up at two goals apiece. However, Will Anton would respond for the Dodgers, finding the back of the net twice to put Madison ahead 4-2.

Ian Waresk added another goal for the Dodgers, putting them ahead 5-2, but would end up being the game winner after Caldwell scored two late goals vying for a late comeback.

The Dodgers will play Mount Olive on Friday, March 31st at 4:30 pm
