Madison Boys Lax Hosts Pope John XXIII Saturday in 'Gold Rush" Game Benefiting The Special Olympics

MADISON, NJ - Madison High School (MHS) Boys Lacrosse is hosting "Gold Rush" Night to benefit The Special Olympics NJ this Saturday April 8 at the Madison Recreation Complex (MRC) located at 184 Ridgedale Ave.

Madison High School will take on Pope John XXIII of Sparta The Varsity game gets underway at 7:00p.m. and the JV game begins at 5:30p.m.

Two years ago the MHS Boys Lacrosse team started an annual giving back event called "Black Out" benefiting the Wounded Warrior Fund. This year, under the leadership of Coach Armstrong, the boys will continue their giving back tradition with a new theme and cause in their sights.

The MRC hut will be open for the event serving hot dogs, candy, chips and cold drinks. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Special Olympics NJ. 

The 2017 Gold Rush t-shirts are $20.  All fans are encouraged to wear gold to the game.
