Madison Democrats Hold Campaign Picnic Event

Astri Baillie (former Council member and current candidate for Madison Borough Council), Jon Arvanites (former Mayor of Roseland and Congressional candidate), and Bob Conley (Mayor of Madison)

MADISON, NJ - Congressional candidate Jon Arvanites and Madison Democrats including former Council member and current candidate for Madison Borough Council Astri Baillie and Madison Mayor Bob Conley held a campaign picnic event at a private residence in Madison on Sunday, September 16, 2012.

Arvanites told, "I want to make sure our children and grandchildren can have the same opportunities I had.  It is especially important that it be affordable to educate our children, that we ensure our seniors can enjoy their golden years and that small businesses have the opportunity to grow and prosper." 

He continued, "It is time to stop watering from the top and hope it works for all.  We need to water from the bottom and allow those who want to achieve the American Dream to have the opportunity to do so."
