Madison Electric Department Schedules Power Outage for July 18

MADISON, NJ - In a message sent from the Borough of Madison today, the Madison Electric Department will be shutting down power for approximately 4 hours to the downtown for "crucial scheduled maintenance" July 18.

Areas of Madison affected are Waverly Place and Main Street from Greenwood Ave to Park Ave.

"Please be advised 54 Main Street will not be affected" they further stated.

The shut down will take place between 10p.m. and 2a.m. "The hours chosen is to minimize inconvenience" to businesses and residents.

The maintenance is to work on underground infrastructure and is weather dependent.
