Madison Girls Dropped by Morristown-Beard, 34-24

MORRISTOWN, N.J. – The Dodgers’ girls’ basketball team saw their record drop to .500 on Thursday, with a 34-24 defeat at the hands of Morristown-Beard.

Mo-Beard’s Morgan Bartner led all scorers with 21 points. No Madison player reached double figures in the loss. Mackaella Goodwin scored seven points to pace the Dodgers.

Madison was held to six or fewer points in three of the game’s four quarters, scoring only one basket in the second and fourth period.

The Dodgers trailed by only four points at the end of the third, however Morristown-Beard held them to only three points in the fourth quarter.

Madison is back in action on Saturday when the Dodgers host Ferris.
