MADISON, NJ - The Madison varsity girls soccer team will host neighboring Hanover Park for the NJSIAA Section 2, Group 2 championship game Friday afternoon at 2 p.m.

Madison (14-4-1) gets homefield advantage as a result of its No. 1 seed in the section. Hanover Park (11-9-1) is seeded sixth.

The Dodger girls advanced with a shootout victory over Bernards in Tuesday's semfinal after the teams played to a scoreless tie in regulation and overtime. Madison, with Kristina Qualben in goal, has not allowed a goal in the tournament, having shut out Hackettstown in the previous round before its epic battle with Bernards.

Dating back to the regular season, Madison has actually shut out its last four opponents. Hanover Park comes into Friday's showdown off a 4-0 triumph over Morris Tech.
