Madison Green Team Seeks Volunteers

The newly-formed Madison Green Team is looking for volunteers to join in planning sessions and hands-on activities. The next meeting is on Tuesday, March 9 at 7:30 in the DDC room on the 2nd floor of old Bayley-Ellard High School, and all are welcome to attend.

The Green Team is a group of citizen volunteers seeking to improve the quality and sustainability of our town in terms of nature, economy, and justice (people, planet, prosperity). Through the focus of the Sustainable Jersey certification program (, events and programs can lead to grants that encourage future endeavors in sustainable community.

The Madison Green Team is enthusiastic about the process of gathering ideas and mobilizing volunteers to make our town an even more just, efficient, and healthy place to live. For information on supporting the Green Team, go to
