Madison Junior School to Hold Free 'Hamilton' Sing-Along Event

Madison Junior School will host its own adaptation of "Hamilton: An American Musical" on Friday at 7 p.m. inside the school's auditorium.

Audience members are invited to sing along to numbers from Lin Manuel Miranda's smash Broadway musical during this free community event. Song selections will include "Alexander Hamilton," "The Room Where It Happens" and "Burn."

"This family-friendly event is like Hamilton karaoke," event organizers said.

Dubbed "Hamiltunes: An American Singalong," Friday's event is hosted by Madison Music & Arts. Those who wish to attend are strongly encouraged to reserve a ticket in advance as organizers plan to print lyric books for all audience members. 

Hot and cold refreshments will be available during the musical's 15-minute intermission.
