MADISON, NJ - It was a full house at Monday night’s council session in the Borough of Madison.  Family, friends and the Madison Police Department were present to support and recognize the promotion of Officer James Cavezza and the promotion of Officer Joseph Longo to that of ‘Sergeant’.

Each officer was sworn in by Mayor Robert Conley taking an oath of office representing the law enforcement code of ethics for their newly appointed rank.  The sergeants were applauded and congratulated with high regard by the mayor, the administration, their wives, their moms and a packed room of supporters.
