MADISON, NJ - Last week an arrest was made by D/Sgt. Paul Kosakowski and Det. Adam Riley in the Madison Graffiti case.
Jeremy C. Gardner, 19 of Madison, NJ was taken into custody.
Lt. John Miscia of the Madison Police Department disclosed that beginning in March 2019, Madison Police began receiving reports of graffiti found throughout town. The graffiti “tags” found were “JAEBANS” and “GEK” which were written on over 25 separate locations totaling several thousand dollars in damage. Structures in public parks, apartment buildings, and commercial businesses were defaced.
"Madison Detectives developed Gardner as a suspect and he was later arrested after an investigation," siad Miscia.
Chief Darren Dachisen stated, “I am proud of our hard-working detectives who worked tirelessly for the past several months to bring this case to an end”. Gardner was charged with 4th degree Criminal Mischief by and later released pending a court appearance in Morris County Superior Court.
