On July 8, 2013 at approximately 12:00pm, Det. Kenneth Shannon arrested 48 year old Lee Bradford Jr and 49 year old Lesia Lindsay of Madison, NJ. The Madison Police received information regarding the alleged sales of dangerous drugs being sold from a Main Street residence near the Madison Junior School. The Madison Police Detective Bureau conducted a several month investigation including countless hours of surveillance at the location. The narcotics seized at the location included a substantial quantity of heroin and crack cocaine along with packaging materials. Also seized was a small amount of marijuana. Bradford and Lindsay were each charged with three counts of possession of Schedule I drugs with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, three counts of possession of Schedule I drugs with intent to distribute, three counts of possession of Schedule I drugs, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The Madison Municipal Court Judge set bail at $100,000 for each Bradford and Lindsay without a 10% option. Bradford and Lindsay were lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.
