Madison Pool Open House Set for May 20; New Features Announced for Upcoming Season

The Madison Community Pool, located at 105 Rosedale Ave. in Madison, will host an open house event on Sunday, May 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Join the pool staff for bagels, learn more about what the pool has to offer and register for membership at this spring event. Membership includes access to the main pool, water slides, lap lanes, snack bar and the fenced-in baby pool.

Couples memberships are now available for the upcoming season, a new offering. Family and single memberships will still be offered.

Other new features for this season include:

  • Extended hours 
  • Badgeless check in
  • Reduced babysitter fees 
  • Renovated bath houses 
  • Picnic tables 

The pool has gone paperless for this year’s registration and will not mail out registration packets. New and returning members can register online here.  

Those who would like to mail in a paper registration form can pick one up from the box outside the pool office or register at the open house event. All checks should be mailed to P.O. Box 186 in Madison.

The local pool will celebrate its 50th anniversary season this year, and board members are reviving the pool's original logo featuring “Rose” the Madison mermaid as tribute. 

Madison Community Pool consists of more than 14,000 square feet of swimming pools with features for all ages. Activities include swim classes, yoga, teen night, moonlight swim, an adult barbeque and live music, among others. A fenced-in playground will be added to the property this year.
