MADISON, NJ - Plastic is everywhere. It's in our waterways, in the air we breathe, in our clothing, in our food, in many items we use daily, according to the Morristown based organization, Wind of the Spirit.

The organization believes that we are only just beginning to understand the consequences of this – to our environment, to workers, to consumers, to wildlife, to all of us.

Community members are invited to a two-hour educational program, titled ReThink Plastic, sponsored by Wind of the Spirit. The program will take place Sunday March 1 at 1pm at the Presbyterian Church of Madison located at 19 Green Avenue in Madison.

The program aims to show how plastics increase risks of various kinds of health problems, how they harm our environment, and how corporations manipulate our understanding of the issues. The program will offer alternatives to participants and help them to be part of the movement for a more sustainable, healthy world, said organizers.
