MADISON, NJ - The Madison Rotary Club presented grants to 40 local charitable organizations and nonprofits, representing arts, education, social services, youth programs and athletics.
“In the past 50 years Madison Rotary has raised and given away over $2 million to charitable causes, including over $150,000 in scholarships to Madison High School Seniors,” said Jeannie Tsukamoto, president of the Madison Rotary Club. “In recent years, we (have) raised about $100,000 annually with all the proceeds going to support approximately 50 global initiatives and local organizations through our various programs."
"Our Annual Grants and Sponsorships program this year provided about $35,000 of funding to over 40 local organizations. Approximately one-third of our total distribution went to youth and education initiatives, and the rest toward human and health services.”
