MADISON, NJ – Madison Rotary Club will present a two-part lecture series, “U.S. Concerns Along the Pacific Rim,” at Rod’s Steakhouse on Nov. 30 and Dec. 7 during its regular meetings at Rod’s Steak and Seafood Grille, 1 Convent Road in Morristown.

U.S.-China relations is the topic of the first talk, and will touch on trade issues and China’s military encroachment in the South China Sea. The final installment will feature a discussion on Japan and the dangers of North Korea’s nuclear weapons and missile program.

Dr. Douglas Simon, a retired Drew University political science professor, will host both lectures. Simon served in the Air Force and was awarded a Bronze Star for his tour in Vietnam. He has also written and co-authored several books on politics.
