Madison Sets First Responder Appreciation Day

MADISON, NJ - Madison Police, Madison Fire, and Madison Ambulance agencies will host "First Responder Appreciation" day from 10a.m. to 5pm.m. Sunday October 16.

The event will take place between the Madison Public Safety Building located at 62 Kings Road and the Madison Volunteer Ambulance Building at 29 Prospect Street.

This all day event will feature live music, food trucks, and activities for kids. As well, members from local and outside agencies will be on hand taking part in real-life demonstrations. 

"During the event the Madison Police will be collecting canned good as part of our annual food drive to benefit the Morris County Interfaith Food Pantry.  This Food Drive is in collaboration with our community partners Drew University, Whole Foods Market, and Realogy Holdings Corporation," said Sgt. Lisa Esposito and Cpl. Luis Goncalves.
