Madison's Torey J Students Present "Million Dollar Project" to Board of Ed

MADISON, NJ - Torey J. Sabatini Principal Alison Stager gave a presentation Tuesday evening at the board of education meeting with two fifth grade students that involved what they termed a "Million Dollar Project", where students built the design for a structure and planned how to meet the needs of everyday life.

Students Hendrix Farrell demonstrated his Pompeii research and Jack McGuire explained the Chromebook project.

Stager also described the "Souper Bowl" initiative, when the school’s students collected over 4,000 food items for the food pantry through “teamwork and determination. We were all winners that day.”

The classes also raised $4,018 which they donated to St. Hubert’s Animal Shelter,  “because we like dogs and believe in their mission,” one student said.
