May Family Nights at the Y: Pinewood Derby and Campfire with S’mores

The Madison Area YMCA invites all families in the area to attend its May Family Nights.

2 Rose City 500 Night: Race your very own Pinewood Derby car against other families on our special racetrack! Registration required. The race will be held in the Family Center’s recreation room. A $5 pre-registration fee applies for members and non-members, which includes a car kit.

16 Campfire Night: Spend the evening making s’mores, playing games and relaxing outside by the YMCA’s campfire ring! The camp area is next to the soccer field at the Family Center.

All Family Nights are from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Family Nights feature a different theme for family entertainment and an opportunity to spend quality family time from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Parents must accompany children at all times. Activities include swimming, racquetball and basketball. Kids Central, the Y’s indoor playground, is also available for open play. Adults must stay with children at all times. Family Nights are free for members; non-members may purchase one-day guest passes. A $5 per family donation to Family Night is recommended for non-members. Non-members over the age of 18 must provide a government-issued photo ID to enter the facility.
