Mayor Conley Declares Autism Awareness Month; National Service Recognition Day and Public Health Week

MADISON, NJ - At Tuesday evenings town council meeting Mayor  Bob Conley read proclamations for National Service Recognition Day, April 5, 2016 and National Public Health Week is April 4-10.

Conely also read a proclamation for Autism Awareness, Acceptance and Inclusion Month, April, 2016.

Peter, a student at Madison High School, with his mother Antoinette Dominicci-Fifoot, received the proclamation. Her son said at the age of 2 he was not able to speak, but with support and encouragement from friends and family, he is now a sophomore in high school.

“Our meetings are televised and your message will go out to the community,” Mayor Conley said.
