MORRISTOWN, NJ - Looking for something unique to do this weekend? How about following the train? Walk 14 miles along the Morris & Essex train line route through some of the nicest and oldest communities in New Jersey. This walk is FREE and open to everyone.

Last year, 55 people joined in the walk. This year's walk will start in Morristown ( meet inside the station at 9:30am) and walk to Maplewood. Walkers will travel 14 miles through several communities and villages. The TRAIN stations are not much more than 2-4 miles apart and there are plenty of rest stops if you need a bathroom, lunch or coffee or just to warm up. This is the perfect walk for people who would like to challenge themselves and also have the option to do part of it and then hop the train back or ahead.

Walkers will walk along the NJ Morris & Essex LIne (Midtown Direct) – Morristown, Madison, Chatham, Summit, Short Hills, Millburn and Maplewood and meet up at Coda Kitchen & Bar to celebrate – if you choose. Walk at your own pace is. Bring friends to join you or make new friends along the way.

Sign up here and get more information on the event.
