MADISON, NJ — In its newly released 2019 “Best Schools” list, national educational research and rankings firm Niche has placed The Madison School District No. 30, among public schools in the state. Millburn ranked No. 1 and Princeton secured the No. 2 spot. Locally, Summit is No. 4, the School District of the Chathams is No. 6, Mountain Lakes School District is No. 9, Parsippany is No. 37 and Morristown No. 63.

Niche gave Madison public schools an overall letter grade of A+. The schools got an A+ for academics, A for teachers, A- for clubs and activities, an A+ for college prep, and an B- for diversity.

In Previous rankings Madison School District ranks No. 49 for Safety and No. 49 for Best Teachers in NJ.

Niche said that its new release analyzes 3,904 private schools, 83,542 public schools and 10,758 school districts weighting factors like academics, culture and diversity, teachers and millions of student and parent reviews.
