Paving Projects to Impact Madison Traffic Over Next Week

MADISON, NJ - Borough of Madison contractor Tilcon has said that a road milling project will begin on or about Thursday Oct. 2 with completion of paving scheduled by Tuesday, Oct. 7. Commercial businesses have been advised to plan on minimizing all morning delivery vehicles on Prospect Street on paving day Monday due to lane closures.

Resurfacing of these roads is being done in conjunction with the state resurfacing of Main Street anticipated to impact traffic night time beginning next week. The Borough Superintendent can be reached at 973-593-3086 during regular business hours for additional information. The Municipal Engineer in Borough Hall can also provide information as it becomes available.

Division Avenue, Union Hill Road and Woodland Road will be affected by milling and paving operations, daytime, weather conditions permitting.

Lane closures may be expected during this period.

Resurfacing of these roads is being completed according to the approved municipal capital budget.
