Opportunities to Tour Senior Living Community

 The Lester Senior Housing Community in Whippany invites all local cowpokes to enjoy an afternoon of family fun at its 7th annual Western Day, Sunday, June 23, 2013 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Attendees of the open house event will get to socialize with residents of the upscale senior living community, tour the premises, and enjoy free activities for adults and children. Advance registration is requested; anyone interested in attending should call (973) 929-2700 by Wednesday, June 19.

Western Day will include: a delicious kosher barbeque, entertainment by a Western band, line dancing with an instructor, pony and carriage rides, and face painting and cowboy hats for children. The free event is sponsored by the Jewish Community Housing Corporation of Metorpolitan New Jersey(JCHC), which manages Lester Senior Housing as well as three senior residences in Essex County. All JCHC communities offer older adults a range of amenities, living options, and services within a traditional Jewish environment.

The Lester Senior Housing Community comprises two residences on the Aidekman Jewish Federation Campus at 903-905 Route 10 East in Whippany, N.J.; it offers independent living and assisted living options, kosher dining, a wide range of enriching programs, and hotel-style amenities in comfortable rental apartments.
