MADISON, NJ - Madison residents (18 years of age or olders) as well as residents of Springfield, Chatham and Cranford, who are also over the age of 18, are invited for free screenings on their cholesterol, triglycerides, glucose and other variables next week, to better "know their numbers."
The screenings will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Madison Civic Center, located at 28 Walnut Street in Madison on Wednesday, Sept. 25. The blood analysis is a fasting test, which means anyone who undergoes it is required to stop eating no later than 12 hours before their scheduled appointment.
However, interested residents must make an appointment to be registered for the screenings. Interested parties may contact the Madison Health Department by phone at (973) 593-3079 x1. Residents must have their health provider's name and contact information ready when calling to make the appointment.
