Rosettes Gymnastic Team Places Second

MADISON, NJ - Ellen Gavin, Gymnastic Director of the Madison Area YMCA announced that she was very proud of the Rosettes Gymnastic Team for having placed second in the YMCA National Championship recently held in Savannah, GA. 

There were 1,900 gymnasts who participated in the Nationals event.  The Rosettes competed in 4,5,6,7 and 8 levels placing in the top three for each division.

Eighteen girls representing the Rosettes competed at Level 8 out of 150 gymnasts.  Five Rosettes made it to the finals of 25 spots.

According to Gavin, the Rosettes competed with determination and team unity.  The Rosettes presented outstanding routines in every aspect of the competition.
