RUTHERFORD, NJ — The Madison Dodgers had their season come to an end on Monday night, falling to eighth-seeded Rutherford in the first round of the NJSIAA North 2, Group 2 tournament.

The first half proved to be the difference for Rutherford, outscoring Madison 34-23, which would be enough to maintain the lead and secure the victory.

The Dodgers had trouble stopping Dom Mignone, who scored a game high 28 points for Rutherdord. James Dolaghan added 11.

Matt Haughey had a team high 14 points and Andy Cristos 13 for Madison.

The Dodgers finish with a record of 12-12 on the season, and finish at .500 for the first time in awhile.
