Special Discounts for Seniors in Madison

MADISON, NJ - Madison merchants invite local shoppers age 62 and older to participate on Tuesdays and enjoy Senior Discount Day. This program was introduced in the spring of 2011 by the Madison Chamber of Commerce.

A 10 percent discount on purchases is offered by most of the merchants who are participating.  Some have bigger discounts, while others are offering great values every day of the week.

Visit the participating stores for details and restrictions as each business sets different terms for Senior Discount Day.

"So many member organizations of the Chamber volunteered to support the Senior Discount Day program because so many seniors are our best and most loyal customers," said John Morris, vice-president of the Chamber and owner of Stewart-Morris, Awards, Gifts, & Flags.

"Senior Discount Day is our way of saying thank you to seniors for their longtime patronage and for shopping Madison," said Karen Meyer, executive director of the Madison Chamber and co-owner of Sprouts Children's & Maternity Consignment.
