POTEAU, OK - Authorities here believe they've solved the 2009 homicide of Jody Rilee Wilson, a former Roxbury resident whose father is a township councilman, according to news reports.

Wilson's husband, Donald Lee Bocephus "Bo" Wilson, is facing charges of first-degree murder and unlawful disposal of a body, said LeFlore County District Attorney Jeffrey Smith at a press conference broadcast online by an Oklahoma television station. Her mother-in-law, Edith Wilson, is charged with acting as an accessory after the fact, Smith said at the press conference.

Jody Rilee Wilson, the daughter of Roxbury Councilman Jim Rilee, was 23 when she moved to Oklahoma and got married. The body of the young mother was found in a remote area in early 2009. A month later, Wilson's vehicle was found in the parking lot of a restaurant in Henryetta, authorities said.

The case that remained unsolved for eight years broke open this summer when Donald Wilson's father, Jerry Don Wilson, told police he believed his son and wife were responsible for the death, according to court records. The statement prompted a judge to allow the taking of DNA samples that helped serve as the basis for arrest warrants against the suspects.

Donald and Edith Wilson are now jailed, according to reports. Donald Wilson faces the death penalty or life in prison without parole if convicted.
