St. Huberts to Host Ice Cream Social Aug. 13

MADISON, NJ - Families and their dogs will be welcome at an upcoming event to benefit animal shelters.

St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center is hosting its annual Ice Cream Social at its Madison Campus at 575 Woodland Ave. on Wednesday, Aug. 13 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.  

Admission and parking for the event are free. Purchase of ice cream will be $5 for adults, $3 for kids 10 and under, and $2 for frozen doggie treats. All sales will benefit St. Hubert’s shelters in Madison and North Branch in Somerset County.

Multiple ice cream flavors will be available as well as an assortment of "fun toppings."

Founded in 1939, St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the humane treatment of animals. St. Hubert’s services to the community include pet adoption and animal rescue, animal-assisted therapy, humane education, food bank, dog training and pet loss support. St. Hubert’s animal shelters in Madison and North Branch provide care for thousands of animals every year.
