With the help of its generous customers, the Madison Stop & Shop donated $4,898 to the Madison Area YMCA’s Annual Campaign.

This year, the Madison Stop and Shop chose the Madison Area YMCA as its charity recipient for its annual Food for Friends Drive. Customers make donations at the register during check out.

The Madison Area YMCA’s Annual Campaign raises awareness and funds for Y financial assistance that enables hundreds of children and families to participate in Y membership, programs and services including child care, early childhood education, and summer camps at the Madison Area Y’s renowned F.M. Kirby Children’s Center. The campaign is one of the ways that allows the Madison Area Y to provide assistance to anyone who resides or works within its local service area. Support is provided based on demonstrated need, with the goal that no one be turned away from membership regardless of income or background.
