MADISON, NJ -  TAPinto.net unveiled its redesigned look today and launched its first mobile site, available at www.tapinto.net, enabling readers to have a more user-friendly viewing experience while continuing to provide the original local news and information content they've come to love, even on the go. Today's technology upgrade is the first in a series of website enhancements that will take place during 2015.

The new look provides more white space to make it easier on the eyes, more effectively displays advertising and provides more content to readers in a user-friendly manner. The mobile site enables ease of navigation and reading of content regardless of the size of your smartphone or tablet.

"While our content has consistently received rave reviews, our readers often said our old site looked like a flashing diner menu," said CEO and Publisher Michael Shapiro. "We listened."

Our new site is easier to look at while showcasing the content that 3,500,000 people now read on a regular basis," he added. "With 51 percent of our readers now tapping into their local news on their smartphones, it was time for us to tap into mobile and launch our first mobile site."

Future site improvements will be deployed on a rolling basis throughout 2015.
