New York - TAPinto Travels recently received a question on finding the best airfare rates on the web.

The answer really depends on the type of travel that you do.  Are you a flexible traveler or do you have to commit to a schedule and tickets months in advance?

For the flexible travelers, we recommend using the Flight Deal.  It is an easy to navigate site that provides the best flight deals available.   The team at The Flight Deal routinely screens flight deals and offers their best picks based on price and the value of the airline's rewards program.  They also provide an overview of the destination.  The site does not book your flight, so you will need purchase your trip from another vendor or use their recommended partner.

If you need to search by specific locations and dates, we recommend using Matrix Airfare Search.  We find it to be the most extensive site to find the best deals.  The only problem is you cannot buy the flights directly from the site. We find the best deals on Matrix then plug the dates and locations into Kayak.  Click here for a beginners guide to using Matrix Airfare Search.

We at TAPinto Travels have found these sites to be extremely helpful.  If you are more comfortable with a real person or have a more exotic destination in mind, than we encourage you to visit your neighborhood travel agent. They will have access and awareness of the best package and group travel programs offered.

However you decide to book your trip, we encourage you to get out and travel.  It may be a big world, but we’re pretty sure we can explore it all with our TAPinto Community.
