Taste of Madison Returns March 15th

Think of Madison, and a number of great restaurants come to mind. Whether Continental, French, American, Italian, Japanese, Indian or Chinese, Madison has them all. Want to try all of them in a single night? Want to complement their signature dishes with a great taste of wine? Then plan on attending the 9th Annual Taste of Madison, the premier culinary fund-raising event of Morris County.

The "Taste 2010" will return this year on Monday, March 15 at the Ferguson Recreation Center of Fairleigh Dickinson University, beginning at 6:00 p.m. for VIP admission ($100) or at 7:00 p.m. for General Admission ($65). Valet parking will be available.

In addition to sampling wines from all over the world, this year will feature specialty bars such as single malt scotch and micro brews. Over 25 restaurants and purveyors of fine food and wines have already signed up to participate. In addition, gourmet coffees and desserts will be served.

The annual major fund-raising event is organized and presented by a committee of volunteers from the Rotary Club of Madison, The Madison Chamber of Commerce, and the Downtown Development Commission. Proceeds from this event are equally distributed among the three groups who in turn channel these funds back into community projects or assist other non-profits.

Tickets must be purchased in advance in person at Gary's Wine & Marketplace in Madison, or online at www.garyswine.com

For further information, go to www.tasteofmadison.org or call the Madison Chamber of Commerce at 973-377-7830.
