MADISON, NJ - Who will you be meeting at "The Taste"?  The annual "Taste of Madison" event is on for Monday, March 20 at The Park Avenue Club located at 184 Park Avenue in Florham Park. The longtime venue for the event is a short distance from historic downtown Madison
 
Billed as a Madison "wintertime food and drink extravaganza" that benefits numerous local non-profit causes in Madison, chefs from thirty of the area's favorite restaurants serve tastes of their most delicious dishes. Gary’s Wine & Marketplace, the event’s longtime presenting sponsor, provides samples of fine wine, beer and spirits. All Taste providers of food and drink donate their time, expertise, personnel and provisions to the event.
 
“Everyone who loves Madison feels at home at the Taste of Madison,” said David Morozoff, a co-chair of the Taste Organizing Committee. “That’s why we say, ‘What are you doing March 20th? Meet me at the Taste.’”
 
The Taste is a celebration of the best of Madison and the must attend party for lovers of food, drink and fun.
 

“Our restaurants are amazing and are excited to show what they have to offer,” said Danielle Dixon, a co-chair of the Taste Organizing Committee. “Pair that with great wine, beer and friends and you can’t go wrong,” she said.
 
"We have lived in Madison a number of years," said one resident.  "My husband and I went last year for the first time with a group of friends from our neighborhood, we had no idea how awesome this was.  We will definitely be getting a bigger group together to attend this year."
 
Taste of Madison derives income from silent auction and trick tray proceeds, tickets sales and corporate sponsorships. Along with the silent auction and tricky-tray event, festivities will include a beer garden that was established last year and a 50/50 raffle. 

 
The Taste of Madison is produced by a non-profit partnership of the Madison Downtown Development Commission, the Rotary Club of Madison and the Madison Area Chamber of Commerce for the betterment of the community.  
 
In its previous fifteen editions, the Taste of Madison has raised almost $500,000.00. Proceeds have helped to fund local charitable causes, business development and civic improvements in the Rose City.
 
Tickets are on sale now and available at Gary’s Wine & Marketplace, 121 Main Street, as well as online at TasteOfMadison.org. Certain Madison school PTO’s are selling tickets as a fundraiser to enrich their programs.
 
Early VIP Admission at 6:00p.m. is $100.00. Regular General Admission at 7:00p.m. is $65.00.
Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be sold at The Park Avenue Club. Guests must be at least 21 years old. The dress code is business casual and valet parking is available.
