The Madison Area YMCA’s Rosettes Are State Champs-Gearing Up for Nationals!

MADISON, NJ - The Madison Area YMCA’s Rosettes gymnastics team, currently ranked #1 in the nation, took first place in the NJ YMCA Gymnastics League State Championships held on Sunday, May 17, at the Madison Area YMCA. The team placed first in all five divisions, which included Excel and Levels 6, 7, 8 and 9.

“We’re extremely proud of our team,” said Ellen Gavin, Madison Area YMCA Gymnastics Director and Head Coach. “The team worked hard and turned out outstanding routines during the competition.”

The team is headed to the YMCA National Gymnastics Championships to be held June 23-26 in Wichita, Kansas. The Madison Area YMCA will be represented in the competition by 62 gymnasts, the largest team that the Madison Area YMCA has ever sent to the national competition.
