Toast the New York Jets 2010 Season at Jets Uncorked Cabernet Sauvignon Release Party at Gary's Wine & Marketplace, September 11th

Gary's Wine & Marketplace, an established leader in the fine wine & spirits business will host a special wine tasting of Jets Uncorked, a 2008 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon made exclusively for the team. The New York Jets created the limited edition wine through a partnership with winemaker, Marco DiGiulio after an exhaustive search of wineries in the Napa Valley region of California. This hand-crafted wine celebrates the opening of the NY Jets new home field at the New Meadowlands Stadium and offers lush flavors of cherries, currants and berries, framed by supple tannins and a hint of oak.

Bottles of the commemorative wine will be opened at all three of Gary's Wine & Marketplace retail locations in Madison, Bernardsville and Wayne New Jersey on Saturday, September 11th between 1pm and 5pm. The event will feature special appearances by Jets Alumni players, chances to win free tickets to a regular season Jets home game as well as official team merchandise.

Between 2 and 5 pm at the Gary's Wine & Marketplace Madison location only, guests will have the opportunity to meet renowned Winemaker Marco DiGuilio. At Gary's Wine & Marketplace's new wine tasting counter, DiGuilio will be pouring his Jets Uncorked creation as well as a special Premier Napa Valley Girard Auction wine obtained by Gary's Wine & Marketplace at the 2010 PNV Auction.

PNV Auction wines are one-of-a-kind offerings, made available exclusively every February at Premiere Napa Valley. As a perennial supporter of the Napa Valley Vintners, Gary Fisch of Gary's Wine & Marketplace personally tastes select wines from the barrel and bids on small lots each year. Among his purchases from the 2007 vintage, Fisch added a quantity of the Girard winery Mountain Cuvee Cabernet Sauvignon to the Gary's Wine & Marketplace portfolio. Winemakers Marco DiGiulio and Zach Long crafted a special blend from Diamond Mountain, Mt. Veeder and Atlas Peak Vineyards.
