Travels Post-Storm Advisory: Power Outages Reported, Flights and School Days Canceled

TAPintoTravels – The storm over our New Jersey and New York affiliates left most roads snow covered and slippery. Gov. Phil Murphy called a state of emergency and asked residents to refrain from unnecessary travel. More than 1,400 flights were already canceled by early Wednesday.

Madison public schools were closed Wednesday and Thursday due to the storm.

Power outages have been reported throughout the Madison area. 

In a text alert Thursday morning, borough officials asked all residents to report power outages to the electric utility department via email at electricutility@rosenet.org.
