MADISON, NJ - The Madison Area YMCA is now offering a Summer Special on its four-week progressive TRX Small Group Training class.

TRX training is a revolutionary method of leveraged body weight exercises designed for people at all fitness levels. Utilizing one’s own body weight, trainers challenge the group through a series of exercises that build strength, endurance, balance, coordination, flexibility, power and core stability. TRX training engages the core on every exercise and provides cardio in every workout.

The class aims to offer clients the enthusiasm and encouragement from a group environment while still getting personalized attention and fitness routines tailored to specific needs.

Open to members only, each group must have a minimum of four participants. Each class is $20.

TRX Small Group Training is offered:

  • Mondays 8-9 a.m.; 9-10 a.m.; 6:30-7:30 p.m.
  • Wednesdays 1-2 p.m.; 6:30-7:30 p.m.
  • Thursdays 6:30-7:30 a.m.; 1-2 p.m.
