Who Is Your Favorite Madison Business Employee? Vote for the Extra Mile Award

MADISON, NJ - Who can you count on downtown?  Who is your go to person when you are in a pinch?  Who goes "The Extra Mile"?

Every year the Madison Chamber of Commerce offers a special individual the "Extra Mile Award" to recognize the Madison business employee who provides outstanding and extraordinary customer service. 

The Chamber is now accepting nominations from the community on who the deserving recipient will be for 2016.  Nominations will close June 1.

"The winners of this year’s Extra Mile Award will be invited to the Chamber’s Annual Award Picnic on Tuesday, June 9 at The Madison Hotel.  This event is the Chamber’s largest social event of the year, highlighted by the presentation of other Business Improvement Awards, Achievement and Community Service Awards," said Karen Giambra, Executive Director of the Madison Chamber.

Last years Extra Mile award was shared by David Smith of Wireless Zone and Joy Pilkins of Madison PhotoPlus.

“The spirit of the "Love Madison Shop Madison" campaign is embodied in the employees and entrepreneurs who work so very hard in Madison's stores and restaurants.  They provide superior customer service everyday and make shopping in Madison a unique, pleasurable and rewarding experience. The Extra Mile Award gives these fine business people the public recognition they deserve,”  said John Morris, president of the Chamber.

If you have someone in a Madison business you would like to nominate please provide your nominee's name, place of business, and a brief description of the reason for your nomination along with your contact information.  Please email your nominations with subject "EXTRA MILE" to Karen Giambra, Chamber's executive director, at info@MadisonNJChamber.org. All nominations must be postmarked by June 1.
