Will You Hold The Golden Ticket?

MADISON, NJ - The Madison Education Foundation (MEF) will hold its sixth annual Gala on Friday, Nov. 13 from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at The Madison Hotel, 1 Convent Road, Morristown.

The holder of the Golden Ticket with the winning number will have first choice of any Silent Auction item in the Glynallyn Ballroom at no cost.

“There will only be 100 Golden Tickets sold at the registration table the night of the event - first come, first served. Attendees are encouraged to buy a Golden Ticket before they are sold out,” adds Giglio.

Imagine winning a trip for $100 or a Chanel handbag? This could be you.

The event will embrace a more casual, informal and unique theme: “British Invasion.”

“This year, people should feel comfortable wearing anything from jeans to cocktail attire – something smashing to get their British on,” says event Co-Chair Claudine Giglio.

The evening will raise funds to support the work of MEF, whose mission is to award grants to K-12 teachers for initiatives that energize the creative and academic lives of students, but are above and beyond the Madison school budget.

The evening will feature music by Chuck Russo, Disc Jockey and a Madison native.

"Our playlist will run the gamut of British tracks, including songs from the Beatles, Elton John, the Spice Girls, the Cure and more. Every genre will be represented so there will be music for everyone -- bring your requests," added Giglio.

In addition to a Silent Auction, there will be a 50/50 raffle and a “Bevvy Pull” which will include both liquor and wine. Tickets are priced at $85  per person, which includes all food and beverages.

“MEF’s British Invasion will be a fun and lively evening to support all the good things MEF does for our children.” Giglio states. “Arrive early and buy your Golden Ticket. We look forward to a brilliant night!”

MEF encourages all those wishing to attend to register in advance to guarantee admittance. Online registration will be available through Wednesday, November 11th at
