CHATHAM, NJ - Visitors to Loantaka Park in Chatham Township no longer have to transport bikes to the park if they wish to ride the scenic paths.
Loantaka now has Zagster bikes to use through an APP courtesy of "Morris Moves Bike Share" a program provided by the Loantaka Brook Reservation and the Morris County Park Commission.
"It's an interesting idea and I think it will be a good thing," Kevin Sullivan, Chatham Township Committee member, said. "Another opportunity for Chatham residents to enjoy the great recreational opportunities around our town."
Sullivan was the mayor when Chatham Township acquired the Giralda Farms Park open space.
Membership in the "Morris Moves Bike Share" is open to all members of the public 18 years of age or older. You must have a valid credit or debit card to become a member of the bike share.
