MGC Monthly Speaker’s Program: “Wildly Floral Arrangements”

An MGC tradition is to invite a local florist to demonstrate floral arrangements at our December meeting. Join Maplewood Garden Club on Monday, December 6, at 7:30 when Josi Stone, owner and operator of Wildly Floral Company in South Orange, shows us how to create 4 beautiful, nature-inspired floral designs of varying sizes and techniques using the medium of flowers, foliages, and other natural materials to highlight nature’s beauty. Her inspiration is derived from the movement and beauty of the natural world. Josi’s demonstration follows a brief business meeting, and her floral arrangements will be raffled off at the end of her presentation. For meeting details, please go to MGC’s website,

Wildly Floral Company is a floral design studio in South Orange. Out of respect for the future of humanity and the planet, it uses sustainable practices, including composting green waste, utilizing foam-free design practices and recycled and/or recyclable wrapping materials, and sourcing as many local flowers as possible.

CHATHAM, NJ -- Nearly a year after more than 100 Noe Pond Club members marched to save the club from redevelopment by the Silverman Group, a deal has been struck to purchase the club property from the developer and keep it open.
