Friday September 13

Pokemon GO Trainer Battles, Madison Library; 3pm

Madison Field Hockey Game; The Dodgers will travel to Parsippany High School. Game is at 4pm

Madison Girls Tennis will travel to  Villa Walsh Academy. Match begins at 4pm

Madison Football will travel to Mountain Lakes for first game of the season. Kickoff is at 7pm


Saturday September 14

The Mayors Wellness Campaign will host a fitness crawl9am - 2pm. The crawl will begin at the Madison Community Arts Center located at 10 Kings Road in Madison at 9am. Between 10:30am  and 12:30pm there will be four 30 minute classes and presentations at The Bar Method, Fitness Coaching, Foundations Yoga and Therapy, Gamechanger Fitness, Hollenbach Family Chiropractic, Intrepid Gym Madison, The Max Challenge, Moment Physical Therapy, Rose City Strength and  The Madison Area YMCA. From 12:30 - 2:30pm there will be a post event reception, givaways and free dood at the Madison Community Arts Center.

Madison PBA Food Truck Fest; Bring your appetite to the Madison PBA Food Truck Fest on Saturday September 14. The fest, which takes place at the Madison Police Department, 62 Kings Road,  is set to begin at 11am and will conclude at 7pm.  According to the website, the event will feature 15-20 food trucks, a beer garden, 2 live bands, game for children, a dunk tank and much more. The price for the event is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 10 years of age.  A portion of the proceeds supporting Duvraska Mendoza "as she courageously fights breast cancer".

Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Event; Morris County Public Safety Training Academy, 500 West Hanover Avenue in Parsippany from 9am - 2pm. Acceptable hazardous material that can be dropped off include: pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, oil-based paints, stains, paint thinners and removers, solvents, automotive fluids, lead acid and rechargeable batteries, pool chemicals, and darkroom chemicals, aerosol cans (not empty), propane and helium cylinders, small quantities of asbestos (wetted, double bagged and sealed with duct tape -100 pound limit), driveway sealant, roofing tar, fluorescent bulbs, PCB-ballasts, mercury thermometers and switches, household cleaning products, muriatic acid. 

Free Movie Night; Madison residents are invited to a free showing of Marvel Studios Avengers Endgame beginning at 9pm. The movie will be shown at Crawford Hall in Ehinger Center


Sunday September 15 

Regional College Fair at County College of Morris; 12noon to 3pm. Representatives from more than 180 colleges will be present at the annual Morris County Regional College Fair on Sunday, Sept. 15. The event is hosted by the County College of Morris (CCM), located at 214 Center Grove Road in Randolph.
