Easter Bunny to Visit Downtown Madison

The Easter bunny will hop into Madison on Saturday, March 24 with plenty of candy and toy-filled Easter eggs for local kids as part of the Madison Area Chamber of Commerce Easter Fun Fest.

Children and parents are invited to bring along their Easter baskets and collect festive treats from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Chamber member businesses. Look for balloons displayed outside participating businesses in the downtown area.

"This annual event brings more families to town each year," said Karen Giambra, executive director of the Chamber. “It's a Madison tradition and a welcomed event to kick off the spring season."

The spring event is free of charge and sponsored by Whole Foods Market on 222 Main St. and Cleaners Advantage of Chatham Township.

"Whole Foods Market is always excited about participating in events that bring families together,” said Margie West, marketing manager of Whole Foods Market. “We are really proud and enjoy supporting our local Madison community," 

All participants can enter to win a new bicycle donated by Peter Daniele, owner of Rose City Collision at 291 Main St. A "count the jelly beans" contest will award additional prizes. 

Cleaners Advantage will hand out Easter goodies from their delivery truck and raffle off a free dry cleaning service for one winner. 

"Cleaners Advantage looks forward to sponsoring Easter Fun Fest each year," said owner Robbin Salmeri. "We love servicing this wonderful community."

The Madison Chamber will host its own raffle, featuring special gifts from Madison businesses. Those in attendance can get a look at the prizes at the under the black Madison Chamber tent at the corner of Waverly Place and Main Street throughout the event.
