MADISON, NJ - In a Facebook post, Madison's Short Stories Bookshop & Community Hub announced that the store will close on or before March 31. 2020.
Our nearly 6-year adventure is coming to a close, the owners wrote on Facebook. The post continued by stating...... "Our beautiful space offered by the best landlords you can find is FOR RENT. Please spread the word- we can’t wait to see what anchor business fills it up with their brand of service to our community. As for us, we are just plain grateful for all of you, for all of the friendships made in and around our little bookshop, and for the honor to be a part of your lives. You’ve certainly touched ours. There are just too many folks to thank in this short notice, but Mary Weichert and Merril Speck and the team are my current heroes. We hope you’ll help us close in style. Please redeem your gift cards, take advantage of our closing sale, plan your final gig in our community space, take a piece of furniture home with you. And as always: To a quiet corner and a good read!"
